Use a kettle to bring about 300 mL of water to a rolling boil.
Pour the water into a heat safe bowl and let it sit for 30 seconds.
Submerge the mouthguard upright in the water and let it sit for 45 seconds. It's ok if the mouthguard floats to the top, but ensure it is initially submerged and let it float on its own.
Remove the mouthguard with a metal fork.
Center the mouthguard in your mouth and press it up into your upper teeth, then bite down while sucking to tighten.
Use your fingers to press the edge of the mouthguard into your gumline.
Once comfortable and secure, remove the mouthguard and place it in a bowl of cold water, letting it sit for 60 seconds to set the mould.
Test the mouthguard to ensure it fits properly. If not, repeat the moulding process.
